生物素叠氮化物（peg4羧酰胺-6-叠氮己基生物素）是不可裂解的叠氮化生物素化试剂，通过铜催化的点击反应与末端炔烃反应，产生稳定的三唑键。它还通过无铜的“点击化学”反应与环辛炔反应，形成稳定的三唑，不需要铜催化剂或高温。生物素叠氮化物允许用生物素选择性标记各种炔化分子（如dna、寡核苷酸和蛋白质），以便随后使用链霉亲和素、亲和素或中性亲和素生物素结合蛋白进行检测或亲和®纯化。
